Last week on the show we interviewed Julia Butterfly Hill, but due to the last min arrangements we had to make to get her on, we couldn’t play the full interview. It was so great I didn’t want anyone to miss out so here’s the full version. Speaking of missing out, it’s not too late to get tickets to see her tomorrow night in Toronto!
Julia ‘Butterfly’ Hill, the american activist that was made world famous in the late 90’s by spending 738 days living at the top of a 1500 year old California redwood. I talk to Julia about the concept of activism as patriotism, spirituality and the earth and whether or not she considers her opponents her ‘enemies’.
If you are going to be in Toronto on April 23, 2014 you should come to participate in her interactive workshop, “Roots and Vision: Seeds of Change” which will be at the Friends House, 60 Lowther Ave in Toronto from 6:00pm-9:30pm. The event is being co-hosted by both climatefast.ca and Toronto350.org. You can register here.
