Mike Ge is a high school student who participated in last years Students on Ice program, a trip to the arctic for students to learn along side with scientists, researchers and First Nations communities about the great expanse north of what is often thought of as the end of civilization. Mike talks to us about his trip, what he learned and what got him interested in the program in the first place.

2. Green Majority will be hosting a town-hall style event on what happens when we scale up the sharing economy here in Toronto on Thursday September 25th @ 6pm – 11pm @ the Centre for Social Innovation. It features an amazing panel of speakers, but more importantly the speakers will only be presenting for a few min each before opening the floor to a full hour of Q&A followed by drinks + food + networking.
