Kevin Farmer and myself take on the full show this week as we try out a more free form format this week (OK I just didn’t have time to book a guest) but it turned out great! The primary difference was that we had topics and no guest, but also that we were taking live twitter comments and questions, interactive woo! Let us know what you think and if there’s enough demand we will do more shows like this.
Call to Action!
Rally at Yonge and Dundas Square
Sunday, Nov. 30, 2PM
We are inspired by those on the frontline of Burnaby Mountain stopping pipeline giant Kinder Morgan from advancing into unceded Coast Salish Territory.
Over 50 people have been arrested in civil disobedience against the tarsands pipeline opposed by the City of Burnaby and First Nations Communities, and which would lock us all into decades more of dirty energy and out-of-control climate change.
This fight is our fight, the fight for our future, and we will not back down–because Mother Earth is Worth It!
Dec 1st marks the first day of the United Nation’s 20th “Conference of the Parties” (COP), convening world leaders in Lima, Peru to address climate change.
Come learn about the role of international agreements in mitigating climate change, Canada’s past performance and how pressuring our leaders to make meaningful commitments at the crucial COP21 in Paris next year.
Also in case you missed it: Elizabeth May asking if we’re still living in a democracy in Canada, must read!
As you might have heard, we are now producing high-quality interviews in full HD video as well as memberships that get you exclusive members content each week! Check it out on the main site here: greenmajority.ca or you can…
