We had scheduled Mark Bourrie, author of ‘Kill the Messengers: Stephen Harper’s Assault on Your Right to Know’ to join us today, but life happened and he had to reschedule. So stay tuned! He will be back.

Instead Stefan and Daryn discuss the LEAP Initiative started by Naomi Klein and others, partially to show our support for it but also to criticize the dismissive way in which it is being covered by the mainstream media.

You can learn more about LEAP here, and we have an interview with someone from the organizing team coming up soon, stay tuned!

We also talk a bit about the “slow” movement, slow food, slow money slow everything? How do we slow down, and more importantly can we?

In the final section of the show, we get super philosophical and talk about the meaning of life. No really 🙂

Last thing we mentioned was that October 10 to 12 in Cochabamba-Bolivia “The World People’s Conference on Climate Change and the Defense of Life. If you are going to be there or know someone who is send them here to learn more.
