(475) YES In My Backyard!

Caitlin Colson wants everyone to take part in shaping their city, and there’s a great chance to do that tomorrow at the YIMBY (yes in my backyard) festival in Toronto. Shape My City is a Toronto based (for now) organization that runs and facilitates on online platform and off-line events to help promote citizen engagement in their city. There’s an awful lot of things you can do yourself, and Shape My City want to connect those people together to meet online and work in real life to help shape the city they want to live in whether as an activist or a city planner.

Learn more and sign-up for your FREE ShapeMyCity account here, and if you are in Toronto you can get info about tomorrow’s YIMBY festival here.
